It is renowned as “Qingcheng, the Most Serene Place Under Heaven,” famous for its evergreen forests and undulating peaks throughout the four seasons.

The history of Qingcheng Mountain can be traced back to the period of Emperor Huangdi (the Yellow Emperor). According to legend, after traveling to the Five Great Mountains, Emperor Huangdi designated Qingcheng Mountain as the “Husband of the Five Great Mountains,” hence its alternative name of Zhangren Mountain.
